My entire life experience has led me to this place. I feel so fortunate to work with busy people who want to feel better and have more control over their lives, their health, and their happiness.
I've been a weight loss coach since 2003 after losing weight that I'd been carrying since adolescence. I had always felt conscious about excess weight, like I didn't fit in. After losing weight and creating a supportive lifestyle for weight maintenance, I felt confident, and in control. I've corrected my digestive issues and chronic pain through diet and lifestyle.
My professional background includes client services, training, human resources, and corporate work life balance. I have a degree in Psychology with a certificate in Rehabilitative Counseling from Emmanuel College, a teaching certificate, and have been a long-time student of nutrition science and coaching methodology. I received further training and certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I studied a variety of dietary theories and practical lifestyle coaching methods. I am a member of the International Association of Health Coaches and the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
