Day 36
My no added sugar meals went fine yesterday, but in the afternoon, I had trouble concentrating. I don’t know if I was bored with the work I was doing or what was going on. I kept taking breaks from my desk to prep dinner, fold some laundry, bring in the garbage can, all thing that needed to get done, but I’m grateful they were there to help me with my lack of concentration and focus. Around 5:00 pm I decided to stop and meditate and felt so much more relaxed, and calm. Here’s the 17-minute guided meditation I followed if you’d like to try it.
I was reminded by my esteemed colleagues Annemarie Cantrell and Cheryl Prince on a NLBP Food is Medicine group meeting last night about glyphosate in sugar. Glyphosate kills weeds and is an endocrine disruptor. We don’t want to be eating this stuff. It was a great wakeup reminder to stick to my plan.
