Day 80
I started my day yesterday making an apple and pear bake which is great for breakfast or snack. It’s just sliced apples, pears, a few raisins, rolled oats sprinkled on top with lots of cinnamon. It gets baked in the oven for about 25 minutes on 350. So easy and I’ll have it for the week ahead.
Our neighbors planned a really creative social event for the afternoon – a traveling porch party involving 8 porches and hosts starting at 3:30 and traveled from house to house with lots of yummy food and drink ending after dark. I particularly enjoyed the Green Avgolemono soup made by George, and a turkey and bean chili made by my friend Claudia’s cousin Rich who is a professional chef. I also tried a date ball which contained were no added sugar.
Looking forward to yoga this morning and then doing some meal prep for the week.
