My Sugar Free Year - Day 104

October 27, 2021
Day 104

Due to the weather, yesterday I spent most of the day texting, calling, and emailing people to reschedule a paddle tennis match which was supposed to take place yesterday.  As a new team captain, I’m learning and making mistakes.  I had to find out everyone’s availability and coordinate our team availability with the other team.  I found this to be very stressful, time consuming and disruptive to my day.  I felt tense, was unable to concentrate.

By the afternoon thoughts of dark chocolate kept creeping in.  I think my body was craving something sweet to balance out my stress and tension.  I knew I had to find a quiet place and just meditate or I’d be headed to the basement to dig through and find a dark chocolate stash I knew was there. After just 5 minutes of meditation, I felt so much better.

With these extra added duties, it made me reassess everything I have going on and I decided to take the captain role off my plate and my daily blog posts off my plate.  I’ll still be posting, but I’m not looking at it as a must do every day.  After all, 104 days in a row I consider an achievement.  Of course, I will be dedicated to my Sugar Free Year, but not necessarily post every single day.  Please help me out and fill in with your posts!
